Ski resort Arcalís-Ordino is located in Andorra, Europe. Situated amongst the Pyrenees mountains, the resort has fantastic opportunities for skiing and snowboarding. Visitors can choose to fly to several airports including; Barcelona, Carcassonne, Girona or Toulouse as the resort is only a 3 hour transfer from each airport.
Arcalís-Ordino may be one of the smallest resorts in Andorra but that doesn’t stop it from having a wide variety of activities to choose from. For skiing and snowboarding there is over 30 kilometres of slopes with elevations between 1,940 and 2,625 meters. It’s breath-taking panoramic views, steep slopes, altitude and the fact that it is north-facing, make it the most alpine sector of Andorra.
Skiers can make the most of the extensive runs the resort has on offer. There are 13 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue runs, the longest run being the ‘Megaverde’, which is 8 km long. 14 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red runs and 3 kilometres of ‘expert’ black runs are there for those who want a little more of a challenge.
As well as skiing there is an abundance of other activities and excursions. For example, snowmobile trips, snowshoe excursions on prepared trails, and a speedride which combines alpine skiing with parapenting, with lessons and tandem rides on offer. If you are looking for a unique experience this is the one for you. When it's time to leave the slopes why not try ‘Restaurant La Borda De La Coma’ which is set at a spectacular altitude of 2,220 meters for diners to have dinner under the stars.
