Soldeu - Grandvalira resort information

The Grandvalira–Pas de la Casa/Grau Roig/Soldeu/El Tarter/Canillo/Encampis ski resort can be found in Andorra. This amazing ski resort was established in 2003 by combining two previous resorts, in the Pyrenees - Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig and Soldeu-El tarter, as a result the combination made Grandvalira, the largest ski resort in Europe.

Visitors and residents are lucky enough to benefit from 210 kilometres of slopes, perfect for skiers and snowboarders to sample during their perfect winter sports holiday. At elevations between 1,710 and 2,640 metres, there are slopes to suit all levels of ability from beginner all the way up to advanced. The diverse nature of slopes attracts a wide range of skiers although the resort's slopes are predominantly classed as easy, there truly is something for everyone, 100 kilometres of blue slopes are perfect for those who are just finding their feet on their skis, 77 kilometres of red slopes and 33 kilometres of black slopes to challenge even the most confident of skiers. Well known for being a free riding hotspot there is also several ‘freeriding’ zones if you are looking for more exhilaration.

The Grandvalira has a number of snow parks with outstanding views of the Pyrenees Mountains. In addition to this visitors can enjoy a range of activities including curling, cross country skiing, hiking and toboggan runs, as well as night skiing on two different floodlit slopes, the Sunset Park Peretol which offers 0.5 kilometres of slopes up until 22:00 and the Pas de la Casa - Pista Tubs which offers 1.5 kilometres of slopes. After a long day on the slopes guests can choose between fine dining restaurants and rustic huts alongside an abundance of bars for après ski.
