Skiers and snowboarders are always looking for their favourite Austrian resort, returning again and again to sample the fresh snow and hone their technique on some fantastic slopes. At the Ski Jewel Alpbachtal Wildschönau, they have a lot of regular skiers that return for that very reason, especially to explore the 93.1km of slopes. There are 45 lifts to take guests around this expansive resort, which is situated in between elevations of 830m and 2,025m.
Combining two Tyrolean valleys into one outstanding resort, visitors and residents can expect 25.9km of blue runs, 53.7km of red runs and 13.5km of black runs to contend with. Guests can easily move between Alpbachtal and Wildshönau using the Verbindungsbahn
Route, but they can also explore 16.3km of additional marked ski routes, including the Baumgarten ski route to Inneralpbach and Markbackjoch to Thierbach. The Schatzburg run is the longest at the resort given its 7km length and the Inneralpbach run is best for families at 4km long. There is also a snow park, tobogganing, speed measurement course and night skiing to extend the day that little bit longer.
There are many surrounding villages such as Niedarau and Kramsach, but hungry skiers and snowboarders can easily find plenty of bars and restaurants in Alpbachtal.
