The ski resort Kelchsau is located in the Holiday Region Hohe Salve of Tyrol, Austria and is only a 1-hour transfer from Innsbruck Airport. Stretching over 10.9 kilometres of forest runs and ski paths with elevation ranges between 775 and 1,605 metres, this small and intimate resort is perfect for novice skiers and families who can enjoy themselves away from the busy crowds of some of the larger resorts.
Skiers can explore and have endless fun on the 6.8 kilometres of easy slopes with practice runs located at the Hagermoos and Hagerjoch lifts. However, those who are more confident can experience the 4.1 kilometres of more exhilarating slopes. Although there are no expert runs, the more advanced skiers will get their adrenaline fix on the attractive forest runs including the most difficult run the Hagalm run which is 1 kilometre in length.
After a long day indulging in excitement on the slopes, guests can choose between fine dining restaurants and rustic huts. The Höhenbrandalm is a lovely cosy ski hut where guests can wind down and relax on the sun terrace or warm up in front of a beautiful open fireplace.
