Pitztal Glacier ski resort can be found hidden within Pitztal, Imst, Tiroler Oberland, Tyrol, Austria. The ski resort located above Mandarfen at the end of the Pitztal Valley, the high-altitude resort boasts 20.7km of varied slopes dominated by intermediate slopes for novice skiers. There are 6 operational state of the art lifts working daily to transport guests through the elevations of 2,685 and 3,440m, to where the highest café in Austria is located, there are many restaurants located throughout the resort, and because this is a family friendly place there is a children’s area up on the glacier.
There are 3.8km of easy slopes, 16.2km of intermediate slopes and 0.7km of difficult terrain to explore. The most difficult run is the Schweizer Weg (No. 33) and the longest run is the Hinterer Brunnenkogel-Gletschersee which is 4km in length, other recommended slopes include the Wildspitz No. 26 and Mittelberg No. 36. Aside from the slopes there is a snow park, half pipe and sped measurement course.
