The Glungezer–Tulfes ski resort is located in the Hall-Wattens Region of Innsbruck, Tyrol, Austria and is well known for its natural snow conditions which are perfect for families. In total, this amazing resort consists of 23 kilometres of slopes available for skiing and snowboarding and elevations are between 950 and 2,304 metres, so whether you are a beginner, expert, snowboarder or cruiser, the Glungezer ski resort really does have something for everyone.
The resorts 7 kilometres of easy runs are smooth and gentle, ideal for those who are finding their feet on the slopes, these slopes lead from the middle station down to the valley. You can ski a total of 15 kilometres in one run right down to the valley. Glungezer offers mainly intermediate runs with over 15.5 kilometres of slopes to challenge the more confident skiers. There are also some freeriding areas and one single 0.4 kilometres of expert runs difficult run called the most difficult run is the Schartenkogel.
At the end of a long day's skiing the resorts lovely rustic huts treat guests to traditional Tyrolean cuisine and is perfect for warming up after a day of cold descents. Touring skiers will experience the high Alpine flair during their secure ascent and can regain their strength while enjoying dumplings or soup before their trip back down the mountain.
