La Plagne (Parasiski) ski resort can be found hidden within the Tarentaise, Maurienne, Savoie Mont Blanc, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France. This large resort offers guests a whopping 225km of slopes, 139km of easy, 59km of intermediate and 27km of difficult terrain available, if this isn’t enough then try the valley runs that are available for guests to explore as well as the Olympic Bob run and free riding terrain. The majority of the groomed slopes are dominated by easy and intermediate terrain, however experts have their fair share of runs.
The resort is wide spread across the mountain front, and guests will find 92 operational lifts working daily to escort guests to their chosen elevation which is between 1,207 and 3,167m. La Plagne is known as ‘Skiers Paradise’ there are multiple villages, snow parks and glaciers to explore. At least 70% of the resort is above 2,000m which guarantees outstanding snow reliability.
Some of the most attractive points of the resort is the longest run, the Le Mont de la Guerre which is a 6km intermediate run, the most difficult slope is the Les étroits, the beginning of the slope is Le Biolley. For some added fun guests are advised to check out the snow park and half pipe.
