Only 90 minutes away from Geneva Airport, located in the Val d'Arly and in Pays du Mont Blanc, residents will find the ski resort Espace Diamant–Les Saisies/Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe/Praz sur Arly/Flumet/Crest-Voland. The resort spans over 192 kilometres of a variety of slopes and elevations between 1,000 and 2,069 metres and with 472 Snow cannons ensuring amazing snow coverage, there really is something suitable for every skiing ability.
With an amazing 132 kilometres of the slopes being classified as ‘easy’ it provides opportunities for novice skiers of all ages to find balance and confidence on their skis or boards providing them with gentle and wide slopes. Mountain Twister and Foret des Elfes are areas which are designated for younger children to have fun in the snow. The 49 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ slopes are fantastic for those who are wanting a bit more of a challenge and the 11 kilometres of ‘expert runs’ including Perdrix and Les Pres are just two of the black run and ensure even the most ambitious of skiers and professionals can have endless fun on the slopes. There are also 79 lifts to transport visitors and residents around the mountains and slopes with ease as well as rewarding them with astonishing views and unforgettable moments.
Located at the base of the resort is where you will find the majority of restaurants and bars, however, up on the mountain you will come across many other cosy family run restaurants, Les Crêtes is right at the Summit of the Mont Rond and serves local cuisine as well as providing magnificent views of Mont Blanc.
