For skiing and snowboarding there are 8 kilometres of slopes, this cosy petite resort has elevations between 835 and 1,116 metres. Whether you're a skier, snowboarder, tobogganer, cross-country skier or winter hiker, you're guaranteed to find something to suit you.
The resort consists of 1.8 kilometres of ‘easy’ runs. Beginners will love the family run Riegel, which is perfect for practicing stopping and turning. There are 5.3 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ slopes for those who are looking for a little bit more of a challenge and 0.9 kilometres of ‘expert’ slopes including the most difficult run Men's downhill Riegel which is 1 kilometres in length.
A lovely little added extra is the new heat house for children which is located right next to the beginner's ski area in Geissleinpark, here the children can warm up and relax with a hot drink. Alternatively, the grownups can recharge their batteries at the kiosk at the Nordhang valley station.
On the summit stands a mountain restaurant Aussichtstrum and a 23-meter-high wooden viewing tower, which offers a magnificent panoramic view, this is a fantastic recommendation for any visitors to the resort.
