Skiers and snowboarders can expect to find 20km of fresh slopes waiting to be explored at the Spitzingsee-Tegernsee ski resort, located in the Alpine Region Tegernsee-Schliersee in Germany. There are 10 ski lifts available for guests to use during their stay, along with elevations between 980m and 1,580m.
In entirety, there are 8.5km of easy blue slopes, 7.5km of intermediate red slopes and 4km of difficult black slopes. This variety ensures a mixed ability of locals and tourists attend the resort, enjoying the slopes and marked routes across the entire winter period. The Gruensee run is the longest at the resort, spanning 3.5km with an elevation difference of 500m, and the Rosskopf run is the most difficult at 1km in length. There is also a valley run, a snow park for children and night skiing for those who just can’t fit all of their skiing into one day.
After a long day on the slopes, visitors and residents will be keen to find a new favourite eatery to recharge. Recommendations include Brotzeitstüberl, Berggasthof Willy-Merkl-Haus and Restaurants im Arabella Alpenhotel am Spitzingsee.
