Carona (Brembo Ski) resort information
On the snowy mountains of Brembo in Brembaba, Italy, lies the Foppolo/Carona ski resort and is only an 80-minute transfer from the nearest airport.
This resort has a traditional alpine feel about it, with elevations between 1,160 metres and 2,163 metres and 22 kilometres of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. The snow cannons to ensure that slopes are kept topped up with snow throughout the season. There is a special ski lift and a magic carpet for children and beginners in the village, including 4 kilometres of "blue" slopes, 16 kilometres of "red" slopes and 2 kilometres of "black" slopes to challenge the most experienced of skiers. The high altitudes require skill and endurance from skiers, whilst rewarding them with astonishing views and unforgettable moments. A particular highlight for the powder professionals is the slope on the highest point, ‘Pizzo Corno Sella’ at 2,621 metres.
When the skiing day has come to an end there are several bars, restaurants and terraces to choose from ‘Montebello’ is highly recommended and being the highest peak for dining, it offers wonderful view points as well as fantastic food, all at 2,100 metres.
