Latemar – Obereggen/Pampeago/Predazzo ski resort can be found in the Eggenta Valley and in the Val di Fiemme South Tyrol, Tyrol, Italy. This wonderful resort boasts 48km of varied terrain, 9km of easy, 32km of intermediate and 7km of difficult slopes for guests to enjoy and explore. Elevations are between 1,540 and 2,388m so the 18 operational lifts doted around the resort are well used. The winter sports expanse links the villages of Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo and stretches from South Tyrol to Trentino. The longest run is Tresca No. 30 it is 3.1km in length and great for those wanting to build up stamina. The most challenging run is Pala di Santa No. 20, this is certainly for the most experienced skiers and snowboarders, other recommended runs include Ochsenweide, Torre di Pisa, and Agnello.
Latemar ski resort is tailored towards intermediate skiers although everyone has a wonderful time here, the slopes are groomed to perfection and the ‘Best Grooming’ award demonstrates this, it enables better skiing quality and control. Guests are able to have some still in the snow but off the slopes, the snow park is great, a half pipe is available, rustic ski huts and so much more. For those who are never ready for the ski day to end the night skiing and tobogganing on a Tuesday Thursday and Friday makes for a wonderful experience until 2200hrs.
