Mt. Madarao stands 1382 meters tall and has 31 separate courses and 13 lifts. The ski area was the host for Japans first Freestyle skiing comp so there are many unique slopes to choose from. Also, enjoy the Free ride park and kids park so suitable for all the family, beginners to advance skiers and boarders.
Madarao is located in the north eastern part of Nagano Prefecture, Just 40 minutes to both Nozawa Onsen and Myoko Kogen. Madarao is a great place to set up base and take day trips to surrounding resorts.
