Located in Liechtenstein, in the Upper Rhine valley of the European Alps is the Ski Resort Malbun. The resort consists of 23 kilometres of slopes and offers a huge range of difficulty for skiers and snowboarders. It is a popular resort of choice when it comes to families and is has recently been awarded the Families Welcome Award by the Swiss Tourism Board for its family-friendly facilities.
There are 23 kilometres of slopes for those wanting to sample as many ski runs as possible, with elevations between 1,600 and 2,000 metres, the slopes are predominantly classified as easy and intermediate. With 11 kilometres of blue runs, beginners can take the lift to the village of Malbun where you will feel at ease on ideal practice terrain. 9 kilometres of red runs and 3 kilometres of black runs challenge the more experienced skiers, especially on the upper part of the Hochegg slope. The Renn slope (race slope) is the resorts most difficult slope and is 1.5 kilometres in length. All this really does ensure the Malbun Ski Resort has a slope for every ability from challenging the experts and welcoming the beginners.
There are 4 Mountain restaurants & Ski huts located throughout the resort, the newly constructed Restaurant Schneeflucht is particularly popular amongst guests and is a cosy alpine hut where guests can dine inside or outside on the terrace with breath-taking views of the mountains and surrounding area.
