Hawran-Jurgow ski resort is located in Lesser Poland, just before the Slovakian Boarder, it is a wonderful choice for first time skiers and young people looking for a thrill. There is a varied selection of runs here which cater for all skiing abilities, in total there are 4.6km of available slopes from easy to difficult runs and elevations between 830 and 1,046 metres. There are 2 chair and 4 T-Bar lifts for guests to utilize.
The slopes here are known to be wide and well groomed, Jurgow is best used for day trip skiers as opposed to weekly vacation spots, with there being 1.3km of ‘easy’ runs, 2.3km of ‘intermediate’ runs and 1km of ‘difficult’ runs this is the perfect place for practising for a day or two and for those who want to experiment with a black run. The terrains lead through the forest aisles or over open space, the longest run here is number 2 (a combination of ‘easy’ and ‘intermediate’), the most difficult run is number 5. Night skiing here is another reason why this resort is recommended with the slopes lit up until 2200hrs each day, a full day or weekend skiing is possible. There is a small welcoming restaurant on site which serves a mouth-watering menu and generous portion sizes, washed down with a tasty local beer.
