Set within the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland, the Śnieżka – Karpacz ski resort is a fantastic choice for those wanting to ski or snowboard in Eastern Europe. With 6km of slopes on offer for guests to try out, there are 8 ski lifts to ferry passengers between elevations of 820m and 1,350m.

There are 3.9km of easy blue slopes here, 1.1km of intermediate red slopes and 1km of difficult black slopes to be found here. This means that there is unlikely to be overcrowding but at the same time there is something for every skiing ability. There is a valley run available at this polish resort, as well as artificial snow-making capabilities in case the snowfall isn’t as much as required.

After taking on the slopes as a newcomer or veteran, it’s worth seeking out some fantastic bars and restaurants in the area. For some delicious local cuisine, try Pohulanka - Restauracja Ziem Gorskich, Bouda Mama, or even Horizont, which is an excellent Cuban bar.
