Kubínska hoľa resort information

The ski resort Kubínska hoľa is located in the Žilina Region of Slovakia and is one of the most visited and popular winter sports centers in Slovakia. As well as providing a great range of slopes suitable for all ability levels, the resort also offers spectacular views of the whole of Orava, including beautiful scenery of the Western Tatras and Chočské Mountain.

There is a wide range of ski slopes of all terrain as well as 11 high tech lifts to transport guests to their piste of preference. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 14 km of slopes available set between elevation ranges of 720 and 1,396 metres. Beginner skiers will feel at ease on 2 kilometres of easy slopes, there is also a special ‘Kids Park’ with a designated ski area consisting of magic carpets and a ski school to guide children in their initial stages of their skiing journey. For skiers who are a little more experienced there are 10 kilometres of intermediate slopes to get to grips with as well as 2 kilometres of expert slopes if you want more demanding terrain with steeper descents. Lovers of adrenaline will enjoy free-ride zone as well as a snow park with lots of jumps and barriers. But it doesn’t stop there the resort also caters for fans of cross-country skiing who will revel in the 10 kilometres of prepared tracks.
