The ski resort Martinské Hole is located in the Žilina Region of Slovakia and is only a 1 hour 20-minute transfer from the nearest airport, great for those who want to get on the slopes as soon as possible. The resort offers a range of terrain more suitable for beginners right through to intermediates, but whether you’re a novice skier or a powder professional, don’t worry as you’re sure to find something for you.
For skiing and snowboarding, there is a total of 5 kilometres of slopes available to really get your teeth into all set between elevations of 1,150 and 1,456 metres. The high elevations and the slopes snowmaking facilities are a great mix to ensure fantastic coverage throughout the winter season. There are slopes suitable for the beginner skiers as there are 2 kilometres of easy slopes. There are 3 kilometres of intermediate slopes and those who want to progress. There are no slopes for expert skiers however more advanced skiers can experience the additional 2 kilometres of marked ski routes. This resort may be small but it does have something for everyone from slopes to alternative activities and apres ski.
