Telgárt resort information

Located in the snowy mountains of Lower Tatra, at elevations between 905.00m and 1300.00m, Telgárt provides the perfect skiing destination.

Head up from the quaint, picturesque village and guests will delight in finding ten slopes with a total length of over 7.5km. With five easy and four intermediate pistes, skiing at Telgárt is aimed at novice and intermediate skiers. However, for guests with advanced skiing ability, there is an additional piste of 1500m with a higher level of difficulty. There are also the neighbouring ski areas of Dobšinská Maša and Rejdová close by, ensuring a wide variety of pistes for all levels.

Ski hire is available here and for those who wish to refine their skills, there is a skiing and snowboarding school. Facilities are plentiful in Telgárt. Seven ski lifts with a total transport capacity of 3,530 persons per hour ensure guests have easy and frequent access to the slopes. Artificial snow making is also available in case of insufficient snow fall through the season.

Guests are sure to find plenty to do in Telgárt with an additional 1.6km of tracks for cross-country skiing. Additionally, a dedicated children’s sledging area makes it the perfect family resort. Following a day on the slopes, guests can settle down to a warming meal without the need to leave the resort. With its rustic wooden structure and floral decoration, the cosy Restaurant Koliba provides the perfect place to spend an evening. Alternatively, Bistro Ski Telgárt, Apres ski bar & Ice Bar has plenty to offer.
