The house has spectacular views of the Baqueira Beret ski resort and consists of two homes. The main house and the house for guests or children.The main house is composed of 6 rooms, including the service house, with 5 bathrooms plus a courtesy toilet.It has 2 living rooms and 1 separate dining room.The house is old and can be seen in its 50 or 60 cm thick stone walls with which it stores a very good thermal energy.The
house is a mixture of 3 architectural styles of the Valley being Vielha, Arties and the upper area.It is a house of unique architectural value.
The guest house is newer and consists of 5 bedrooms, 4 with en-suite bathrooms and 1 courtesy bathroom. It consists of living room and kitchen. Under the houses there is a garage for several cars (up to 6) and a ski storage room. The two houses have their own access through the garage.
In addition, both houses are joined by the kitchen and dining room and on the back are joined as if they were one.
The blackboards of the main house are old and are placed in a completely handmade way. The plot is 1500 m with its trees.
All the walls are painted by painters with skates of fine arts in Madrid. It took 5 months to paint the house in detail. The doors are lacquered. The painted and lacquered cabinets. All handmade.
The house has a boiler room where oil heating is located. It has radiators throughout the house and with the thermal insulation of the walls it keeps the house at 22 degrees without much expense.
The house has an elevator from the garage to the sleeping area. The installation of the lights was also studied in order to have an environment consistent with the decoration. The vast majority of switches are adjustable.
The house has an alarm.
You can make a pool in the back. There was a project but in the end it was not done.
It is located in the beautiful village of Gessa, 5 minutes from the Baqueira Beret ski resort.
Because of its perfect elevated location that offers wonderful views over the forest of Mont Romies and its beautiful streets, Gessa is one of the most picturesque villages in the Valley. Its Romanesque parish church is dedicated to San Pedro and the contrast of its slender hexagonal bell tower on a thick and strong square tower has special charm.
Leaving the village there is a path that climbs quickly through the deep ravine of Corilha. At 1880 meters of altitude, in an impressive position, is the hermitage of Sant Martín de Corilha. Hanging on the cliff of the same name, the hermitage is held on the rock at a point where a small grotto opens, within which the altar is located under a semicircular arch. A legend attributes its origin to the appearance in this place of Sant Martin de Tours, who ordered the neighbors of Gessa to build an oratory in exchange for ridding them of the storms they suffered. "
