Sierra Nevada resort information

For some of the best skiing in Spain, skiers and snowboarders flock in droves to the Sierra Nevada – Pradollano ski resort. This massive resort comprises of 106.8km of slopes in total, between elevations of 2,100m and 3,282m, the slopes are practically guaranteed fantastic snowfall due to the high altitude. It is located approximately 50 minutes from the city of Grenada.

With a massive 50km of blue runs, 49km of red runs and 7.8km of black runs, this is a resort that has universal appeal from skiers of all abilities. Whether it’s a first-time skier or snowboarder wanting to learn the ropes, or a well-versed skier wanting to challenge themselves, Sierra Nevada has something for everyone. There are 17 ski lifts to utilize, including 2 t bar lifts, 2 magic carpets and 1 ski tow. The resort also regularly hosts World Cup races, including FIS World Ski Championships and Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships. Lastly, there is a valley run available, a snow park and halfpipe on offer, as well as night skiing as well.

Visitors and residents will quite rightly be exhausted from ewverything on offer at this wonderful resort, so will be in need of something to eat. Culinary highlights include Little Morgan, La Antorcha, Estrella Nevada and a Tinaja la Sierra.
