Located in the US state of Oregon, the Timberline ski resort has everything a skier or snowboarder could ask for during the winter season. There are 31km of wonderful slopes available, alongside 9 ski lifts that ferry visitors and residents around the area. The elevations at the resort are between 1,478m and 2,603m.
In their entirety, the slopes consist of 8km of easy blue runs, 15km of intermediate red runs and 8km of difficult black runs. This enables winter sports enthusiasts of all abilities to take to the slopes, from novices wanting to enjoy a pleasurable first skiing holiday on the snow, to experienced skiers who are looking for their next adrenaline boost. The longest slope at the resort is 5km in length, with an elevation difference of 1094m. There is a valley run for those interested in exploring the local scenery at their own pace, a snow park and halfpipe for freestylers wanting to hone their technique and night skiing on offer for those who’re keen on filling the complete day with skiing on the slopes.
