Damuls Mellau can be sought out in the Bregenzerwald district of Austria. It is one of the larger resorts boasting a whopping 79.4km of slopes and 17.7km of ski routes and elevations between 690m and 2050m There are 19 operational lifts available to escort guests up to their chosen elevation. And being located just 40 minutes from the nearest airport no time is wasted in transfers, the slopes are waiting to welcome you.
Between the 19 lifts available the lift at the peak Gipfelbahn has provided connections between the surrounding villages of Damüls and Mallau to the Damüls Mellau ski resort. The new 10-person gondola feeder lift brings guests from Mellau up to the largest winter sports area in the Bregenz Forest, and access is also available to Damüls Mittagsspitze where guests can experience breath-taking panoramic views all the way to Lake Constance. A ski bus is also available for those wishing to visit the villages via foot.
The easy runs for beginners dominate 37.8km of crystal slopes, but when confidence has grown, residents and visitors can move over to the intermediate slopes, which run across 39.9km. For the more adventurous skiers, there is 1.7km of difficult runs available. There are 17.1km of marked ski routes, valley runs above and below tree lines, the most difficult runs are the Sunneg steep slope Damüls, which is 1km in length.
