Saualpe – Eberstein ski resort can be found nestled in the Mittelkärnten area of Austria, and is a tiny resort with a lot of charm. Fans of Austrian skiing will appreciate this little gem, along with its 1km of slopes and 1 lift to transport guests. The elevation of the ski resort is between 1,650m and 1,780m, so there is plenty of decent snowfall at this height to satisfy visitors and residents during the winter season.
The whole of the 1km of slopes is considered to be an easy ski, so it is ideal for novices and children wanting to enjoy a practice on the snow. The pleasant descent is ideal for slow skiing and snowboarding, taking things at a more relaxed pace than some of the larger resorts in Austria.
Once visitors and residents have removed their skis and changed into evening attire, they can make their way to the local Zimmer & Gasthof for some delicious local delicacies and refreshments on offer.
