The ski resort of Schetteregg – Egg is located in a central position in the Bregenzerwald area of Austria, just an hour and fifteen minutes from St. Gallen-Altenrhein airport. Visitors and residents often make the easy journey to enjoy the 10km of slopes on offer, within elevations of 1,070m and 1,325m.
The accessible slopes, which won an ALPS award in 2012 for their quality, are divided into 3km of easy runs, 6km of intermediate runs and 1km of difficult runs. This ensures a great balance for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Beginners can take their time getting to know the snow on the 3 blue slopes, while more advanced skiers can associate themselves with the 3 red slopes. With 6 lifts and a free shuttle bus to transport the guests around the resort, the area is easy to navigate for families.
Overall there is a great community feel in the area, especially in Egg where there is an abundance of restaurants, cafés and après ski bars that will ensure families and friends enjoy themselves.
