You will find the ski resort Gaissau-Hintersee in the Tennengau area of Salzburg, Austria. It is located amongst the picturesque Osternhorn mountain group near Mozart's city of Salzburg. It shines with natural, sunny snow slopes and boasts spectacular views of Lake Fuschl. Only 30 minutes from the nearest airport and with its variety of slopes and activities, this resort is ideal for a winter holiday.
It is a manageable yet varied resort with 34 kilometres of slopes of all difficulty levels, 9 lifts, and elevations between 750 metres and 1,567metres. There are 23.5 kilometres of easy runs, 10 kilometres of intermediate runs and 0.5 kilometres of expert runs so there really is something to suit every ability. Three ski schools and the professional service centres are available and provide lessons and activities for all ages and abilities, ensuring a fun, memorable experience, making this a wonderful resort for children.
For après ski and dining there is a wide selection of rustic yet very cosy mountain huts along the slopes which provide guests with culinary delicacies including local cuisines and spectacular views.
