Hochkonig-Maria Alm/Dienten/Muhlbach ski resort can be found on the Hochkonig, Salzberg, Austria. This remarkable resort offer guests a whopping 112km of slopes and an alternative 8km of ski routes for skiing and snowboarding.
Hochkonig offers various slopes for all skiing capabilities, (52km of easy, 41km of intermediate, 19km of difficult runs) each slope is carefully groomed, wide and most often lead through the alpines. The longest run here is the Sunnhutte-Muhlbach (runs 4 and 1a) in total it is 9km in length, the most difficult run is the Hochmais (run 31), this is certainly not for the feint hearted. There are 33 lifts operating continuously to take guests to their chosen elevations, (between 800 and 1,900m).
Hochkonig interconnects with the villages of Muhlbach, Dienten and Maria Alm, combined the ski region showcases one of the most awe inspiring ski tours in the Alps. Other highlights include the funslope on the Aberg in Maria Alm, many breath-taking panoramic views are witnessed from this location. For a wonderful day out, with the family or alone, why not try the Konigstour at 1921m it is 32km in length, a truly enjoyable and relaxing experience. Night skiing (run 31)is also a wonderful experience available on a Monday and Wednesday from 1830hrs until 2130hrs. Here guests are able to enjoy an unforgettable ski break in a true winter wonderland.
