Nature Park Region Reutte, Tyrol, Austria, hides a perfect little retreat; Hahnenkamm-Hofen/Reutte ski resort. This is a wonderful choice of resort offering slopes for all levels of skiing abilities. There are 5 km of ‘easy’ slopes, 9 km of ‘intermediate’ slopes and 2 km of ‘difficult’ runs for skiing and snowboarding.
Throughout the resort there are 5 lifts to transport all guests even to the highest peaks where there are easy, intermediate and difficult runs. Elevations here at Hofen are between 854 and 1,900 metres. The longest run at Hofen is the ‘valley’ run which is 3.5 km in length. Intermediate skiers are able to enjoy a skiing experience from the highest point of the mountain stations to the base below.
There are welcoming restaurants waiting, Panorama Restaurant is family and wheel chair friendly, access is gained by taking the cable car, another recommendation is Hofener Alm, it boasts a wonderful view of the valley and good homemade food is served daily.
