Situated in the breathtaking area of Lavanttal, Austria is the Koralpe Ski Resort. With 24 kilometres of perfectly groomed and prepared slopes, set between elevations of 1,522 and 2,070 metres, it is easy to see why this is a family favourite for many skiers to get their fill of adventure.
The residents can enjoy Skiing or boarding on 10 kilometres of easy slopes ideal for beginners or progress onto the 11 kilometres of intermediate slopes. For a really challenge, there are 3 kilometres of expert slopes for those who want to experience more exhilarating terrain. There is a total of 6 ski lifts to transport residents across the resort and for those who are looking to improve their abilities, there is a ski school with highly trained, enthusiastic ski and snowboard instructors so guests of all ages can take part in fun and effective lessons to grow in both confidence and technique.
When it’s time to take a quick rest from the slopes there are several bars and huts located throughout the mountain so that you can recharge your batteries, kick back and relax with a warm beverage till you’re ready to hit the slopes again. So, whatever you enjoy, everyone will find their idea of winter fun on the Koralpe.
