Up in the Lienz Dolomites region of Austria, the Zettersfeld – Lienz ski resort is a wonderful winter sports destination that welcomes skiers and snowboarders of varying abilities. There are 21km of great slopes here, along with 7 ski lifts that transport guests up in the mountain. Elevations here are between 1,660m and 2,278m.
Conveniently for most skiers, there are 7.9km of easy blue runs, 11.5km of intermediate red runs and 1.6km of difficult black runs. This ensures there is something here for everyone, meaning if you’re in a party of mixed ability skiers, no one will miss out on the snow. Whether you’re a beginner looking to hit the slopes for the first time, or a pro-skier who just needs pointing in the direction of the black slopes, you’ll feel at home at the resort. There is a snow park for freestylers to show off, and artificial snow-making capabilities in case the snowfall isn’t very deep.
