Berwang/Bichlbach is located in Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. The positioning of this wonderful resort allows you to ski and snowboard into the surrounding villages, making it very easy to explore at your leisure.
There are 36km of slopes split between various levels of skiing capabilities. Inexperienced skiers have 24.5km of run allocated on easy paths, medium skiers have 10km of runs and experienced skiers are allocated 1.5km of snow filled mountain tops. Elevations are between 1667m and 1743m high.
It isn’t only the slopes during the day that are open, on a Thursday (which I recommend) night skiing is available. With the slopes lit up with flood lights this is a must experience. On other nights of the week tobogganing and ice skating is also available.
Dining options here are as exciting as the slopes. The restaurant Café Mirabell serves delicious food, the menu is simply mouth-watering and the staff are friendly and welcoming; this is the perfect venue for privacy and intimacy. The Fonduerestaurant Bergfeuer offers the best grilled meats around. All served on a bed of salad of vegetables, the beers also go down well here.
