For some superb Austrian skiing to charm winter sports enthusiasts, the Stuhleck – Spital am Semmering ski resort is ideal. Located in the Hochsteiermark area of Austria, there are 24km of slopes available, and guests will be able to use 9 ski lifts to traverse the resort and find favoured spots to ski from. The resort is situated in between elevations of 777m and 1,774m.
There are 18km of easy blue slopes and 6km of intermediate red slopes, although there are no slopes classified as difficult at the resort. This ensures that novice-skiers will be very happy at the resort, taking their time on the wide, gentle slopes and enjoying the abundance of easy slopes before taking the step up to slopes of an intermediate level. As well as a valley run for those who prefer to explore the area, there is night skiing available at the Stuhleck Night Ride area of the resort.
Families will feel right at home at the resort, given the multiple snow parks to choose from, including “Semmi’s Kinderland’, a fantastic space for very young children to enjoy their first time on the snow.
