The largest ski resort in Wipptal, this resort is perfect for skiing and snowboarding alike. It boasts 28km of slopes and 1km of ski routes with 5 lifts available to travel around the resort. With elevations between 1048m and 2140m (difference of 1092m) there is enough vertical descent to satisfy the most advanced skiers. There are allocated slopes for all ski levels, with easy runs totalling 9km, medium runs covering 10km and difficult runs over 9km.
The first recommended one is Barnefalle, which is a welcoming establishment serving good food in a welcoming atmosphere. Secondly is Café/Bar, which is a great choice for visitors who want to be amongst the locals. With a sports TV, open fire and good beer, the welcoming locals make this bar the perfect place to relax and get a true feel of life here.
For extra activities night skiing is available. This is something all skiers should try at least once, with the flood lit runs open there is something very different about skiing at night as opposed to during the day when the runs are busier. Sledging is heaps of fun for everyone, and is a great way to pass your time whilst not on skis.
