Gröllerkopf–Übersaxen ski resort can be found in Bodensee-Vorarlberg, Vorarlberg, Austria and is only a short 35 minute transfer from the nearest airport - Hohenems/Dornbirn Airport. Even though it is only a small resort with 3 kilometres of slopes for skiing and snowboarding and elevations between 1,000 and 1,200m it provides something for everyone, from beginners to the more advanced, you’re sure to find something to suit your level.
In totality this lovely petite resort offers 3 kilometres of slopes, there are 1.5 kilometres of ‘easy’ and ‘intermediate’ slopes which consist of pleasantly simple slopes which ensure smooth gliding to the more challenging and steep terrain. There are 2 operational lifts which makes transportation around the resort and up to the desired slopes a breeze. Night skiing is also available and is a popular added attraction as guests can ski on the 2 kilometres of floodlit slopes which stay open up until 22:00. The resort often holds a special night skiing event - with Käsknöpflepartie (cheese dumpling party) which has not to be missed.
Specially prepared winter hiking trails, snow show hiking and tobogganing are amongst some of the exciting activities available at the resort. The après ski, sun terraces, mountain restaurants and ski huts are perfect for those who want to taste the local delicacies and simply relax after a long day on the slopes.
