Bodental ski resort is situated in the Carnica region of Rosental, Austria. There is so much beauty and wildlife here to enjoy as well as the skiing and snowboarding that is available in abundance. Enjoying the winter sports surrounded in such beautiful landscapes makes for a more enjoyable experience, and only 45 minutes travel time form the airport means there is minimum time wasted on travelling to and from the resort.
The resort boasts 2km of slopes available, 2 operational lift to take guests up the mountain, and elevations are of 1030m to 1200m above sea level. In addition, there are 2 different types of ski runs, one for the inexperienced skiers and the other half of the resort is for intermediate skiers. Thankfully, 100% of the slopes have artificial snow making capabilities to keep the levels high and fresh.
When it comes to dining, one of the favourite eateries has to be the Berggasthof Lausegger Restaurant. It serves an exquisite German menu with some traditional dishes available as well as offering some amazing views whilst you dine. The ambience is wonderful and this family run establishment is sure to leave you happy, relaxed and content.
