Weissbriach (Gitschtal) ski resort is a cosy petite resort which can be found hidden within a beautiful mountain backdrop in Nassfeld-Pressegger See, Carinthia, Austria. Carinthia is well known for skiing, it is one of the most favourable and prestigious areas in Austria.
Weissbriach provides 4km of easy and intermediate slopes, 1km of easy beginner runs and 3km of intermediate terrain for novice skiers to explore. There are 3 T-Bar lifts and 1 people mover to elevate guests between 820 and 1,150m. Some of the hiking trails available at the highest peaks are wonderful, they offer some astounding views of the area and of surrounding mountains.
Dining is available at a number of restaurants located around the base of the resort, being able to hide in the mountains and dine is a lovely experience, with nothing but snow dusted mountain peaks to admire, the landscapes and views from here are wonderful, this is a peaceful and tranquil spot which everyone can appreciate.
