Antillanca resort information

Antillanca is a ski resort in the Puyehue National Park in southern Chile and is located at the base of the Casablanca Volcano. It boasts the reputation of being one of the best and most important resorts in Southern Chile. With elevations between 1,040 and 1,540 meters, 22 kilometres of slopes and an additional 10 kilometres of ski routes it is easy to see why it is a firm favourite for many.

For novices and younger families there are 13.7 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue runs to find your feet on the slopes. Antillanca also has an excellent ski school ‘Escuela Esqui Antillanca’ with fantastic resources and instructors who can teach adults and children in the initial stages of their skiing journey. For those who already know how to ski and are in the average-advanced level, there are 4.6 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red runs. In the San Pedro sector there are tracks and slopes for those who can handle the strong and long slopes, if you want more of a challenge then these are the slopes for you. There is also 3.7 kilometres of black tracks for experts, located in the Haique hill sector, where you can a range of highly exhilarating tracks and slopes. The resort even has a fantastic designated area for those who prefer to snowboard, including has several hills and covered places out of the ski tracks, like the Haique Hill and Mirador.

When it’s time to take a break from the slopes, at the top of the first T-bar is you will find ‘Cabana el Chucao’, a beautiful alpine hut which is perfect for small meals, hot chocolates and picso sours and has a couple of cosy fires to warm up by after a long day of skiing.
