Chapa Verde resort information

Chapa Verde Ski Center is located in the O’Higgins Region of Chile. It may be a small resort with a relaxed, less crowded vibe, but it does boast a 790-metre vertical descent. With over 20 kilometres of slopes and elevation ranges between 2,260m and 3,050m, quality snowfall is guaranteed throughout the winter season, perfect for a family holiday in the snow.

Chapa Verde is best suited for intermediate skiers and snowboarders with 12 kilometres of ‘intermediate’ red slopes including ‘El Pitu’, but there is also a lot of terrain for beginners and experts too. If you’re after a smooth ride on the slopes then the 4 kilometres of ‘easy’ blue slopes ensure pleasant gliding, the likes of ‘El Espiral’ and ‘El Pudu’ are for you. Whilst the 4 kilometres of ‘expert’ black runs can challenge even the most advanced skiers ‘El Angel and ‘El Quarzo’ being the runs with the toughest terrain and steepest descents. So, whether you are a powder professional or a beginner you are sure to find something to suit your skill level.

The fun doesn’t end on the slopes; there is a wealth of alternative activities to take part in including, tobogganing and snow shoe walking. The après ski here is some of the best in the area, with two restaurants, one at the base of the resort, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, fast food and snacks. The other, located at the base of "La Liebre" chair lift, offers something completely different, with more of a European style, including Spanish and French food, barbecue and a grill bar. You are sure to find something for everyone at this outstanding resort.
