Set within the Alpine Region Tegernsee-Schliersee, the Sudelfeld – Bayrischzell is a fantastic German ski resort with a lot of character. With 31km of slopes on offer to skiers and snowboarders, there is plenty to discover, along with 14 ski lifts to transport guests around the area. The elevation of the resort is between 850m and 1,563m.
The slopes up towards Bayrischzell offer a wonderful panoramic view out over the Bavarian Alps, with a huge area for winter sports enthusiasts to explore. In total, there are 5km of easy blue runs, 23km of intermediate red runs and 3km of difficult black runs. The emphasis here is certainly on those beginners and with limited experience who want to move up to red runs. Visitors and residents can quite easily work on their technique and build confidence before challenging themselves on some diverse terrain at the resort.
The Rosengasse slope is recommended as an attractive course with practically no queues, whereas the FIS course at 1km in length is touted as the most difficult.
