Wurmberg – Braunlage ski resort can be found hidden within the magnificent Harz Mountains Central Uplands of Germany.
The resort provides 11.8km of slopes and 0.8km of ski routes offering terrain for all abilities of skiing and snowboarding, 10km of easy slopes, 1.3km of intermediate and 0.5km of difficult slopes, the longest run is 4km and there is a valley run available for guests to explore. Elevations are between 565 and 970m, at various altitudes across the resort dining is available, offering some magnificent views from Rodelbahn at 727m and Wurmberg at 971m.
Harz Mountain are well known for being Saxony’s highest mountain, when the days get shorter and the nights get colder most start to hide away, this place comes to life and offers hours, weeks and months of skiing. There is space available for beginners and plenty of runs for experienced skiers to push themselves on the downhill slopes, for something a little more laid back and peaceful, time consuming and enjoyable try the cross-country ski runs.
