Buchenburg ski resort is a small resort with a great deal to offer. Being located just 15 minutes from the nearest airport this resort is perfect for everyone including families who want to hit the slopes as soon as possible.

Buchenberg boasts 6km of slopes for beginners and intermediate skiers, with 3 operational lifts to take guests to their chosen peak. There are elevations between 810m and 1140m, giving a nice variety in surfaces for skiers and snowboarders to sample. The easy runs for beginners have 2km of slopes allocated to them, whilst intermediate skiers can expect 4km of slopes. There are also valley runs available for those seeking a little more of a challenge and excitement in their skiing.

There are plenty of places for you to be able to dine, and one that is highly recommended is the Wirtshaus Adler. This is a cosy and casual venue with a varied menu of classic and traditional dishes with something tasty available for everyone. The Schneiders Brotzeitstube is another recommendation for more quiet and intimate dining, and for a good family menu try Toscana Cianciulli.
