Donnstetten (Römerstein) resort information

Donnstetten ski resort can be found in the county of Reutlingen, Germany, and is a quieter resort than some in the area, but with all of the facilities you could ask for. Conveniently, the nearest airport is approximately 20 minutes away. With 4 operational lifts taking guests to different points on the 1km of slopes, there is a very low chance of queuing or overcrowding, making it ideal for families and novice skiers.

At elevations between 800m and 845m, the slopes here are a gentle descent, which means pleasure skiers and snowboarders often choose it over other locations. There is much more of a relaxed atmosphere here, which ensures young children and those with limited experience can learn at their own pace, and not be too overwhelmed. Whether it is their first time on the snow or otherwise, the resort caters to beginners through a ski school running frequent courses throughout the year.

An advantage is that night skiing is available until 2200hrs, lit up by flood lights. If for any reason the snowfall hasn’t been as good during the night, there are artificial snow-making cannons covering 100% of the resort.
