The ski resort Grainet–Haidel is an intimate, beautiful resort located in the Almberg-Haidel-Dreisessel, Bavarian Forest, Bavaria, Germany. There are 0.8 kilometers of slopes for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy, with elevation ranges between 682 and 776 metres, perfect for beginners and families who are looking to take it easy on the slopes. The resort’s runs are solely dedicated to intermediate skiers however first-time skiers are welcomed as the resorts slopes are calm, calmer than the rush you might get from the larger more popular resorts. Even though the resort itself it small and intimate, there is still so much to do as well as skiing down the slopes. A short walk into the centre of the Bavarian town, there is an idyllic, natural outdoor swimming pool. The surrounding countryside is ideal for fishing, walking and cycling. Within a 10-minute drive of the resort, there are several restaurants which specialise in German and Italian cuisine. Interesting museums in Bärnau include the Button Museum and the Bärnau-Tachov History Park.
