The cosy ski resort Hoherodskpf – Breungeshainer Hang/Rennwiese is situated in Vogelsberg County, Hesse, Germany. This beautifully petite resort offers 1.5km of easy terrain, perfect for beginners and children. This is one of the most underestimated resorts, it is however known as being one of the leading resorts in Hesse along with the Wasserkuppe.
Even though this is a resort for primarily aimed at beginners, it is enjoyed by everyone who comes here, experienced skiers or not. For an alternative experience the valley run is recommended, there are 2 T-bar lifts working around the clock to transport guests. This is a relatively low resort with elevations between 580 and 745m.
The resort usually has a wonderful reputation for its snow fall, on the occasion it might need topping up there are artificial snow cannons situated across the slopes. One of the highlights here is the length of the ski day, as night skiing is opening daily there are many hours throughout the day to enjoy the slopes.
