This low altitude ski resort Holzhau is located in the wonderful German Ore Mountains, Saxony, Germany. This beautiful resort has 2.8km of easy and intermediate slopes available, they are easy to navigate and well-groomed which is perfect for beginners and children. If the slopes aren’t enough then guests are welcome to try the toboggan run or the readily available valley run.
There are 2 fast and comfortable lifts operating to transport guests around the resort and to their chosen elevations (between 610 and 740m). Across the resort (75%) there are artificial snow making cannons meaning snow levels are always high. One of the highlights here is the night skiing, available on a Wednesday, Friday, Saturday until 2300hrs and Sunday until 2000hrs throughout the entire resort.
If traveling with the children, the snow park will be perfect for keeping the little ones entertained, and with the resort located only 60 minutes from Dresden Airport the transfers are manageable.
