The German city of Neuss can be found in North Rhine-Westphalia, just across the Rhine from Dusseldorf. It is one of the oldest and most diverse cities in Germany, best known for its Roman history, annual Neusser Bürger-Schützenfest, and Germany's first indoor ski hall – the Jever Fun Ski Hall.
Jever Fun Ski Hall has a total slope length of 0.4km, and an elevation of between 60 and 110m. It has a smaller slope with a 10-15% gradient which is perfect for kids and beginners alike, as well as a steeper main slope with inclines reaching a gradient of up to 28%. The resort offers 0.3km of easy slopes along with 0.1km of intermediate slopes and is even the official base for training for the German Ski Association (DSV).
To help you reach the heights, you will find a total of 3 ski lifts – 1 four person chair lift, and 2 J-bars. In addition, there are also 4 Sunkid moving carpets for the younger skiers. With the easy slopes and 12 snow cannons, this resort is perfect for tobogganers and snowboarders as well as skiers. It is open all year round, right up until late evening.
The resort hosts Après-ski parties each weekend, and you can find a number of Alpine restaurants to choose from. Nearby, you can find the neighbouring winter resorts of Wildewiese and Bödefeld-Hunau.
