The Ski Resort Kandel is located in Baden-Württemberg, Black Forest of Germany and is one of the oldest mountain ski resort in the Region. With 2 kilometres of slopes and elevations between 980 and 1,200 meters, this is a perfect resort for families and those who are new to this winter sport as guests will encounter many opportunities to find their feet on the slopes. With an average of 45 days of sunshine, Kandel also has the reputation of being one of the sunniest resorts in Baden-Württemberg.
There is an even distribution of slopes within the resort with 1 kilometre of easy slopes, 0.5 kilometres of intermediate slopes and 0.5 kilometres of expert slopes, which welcome complete novices and advanced skiers in equal measure. For first timers, there is a dedicated ski school to help get beginners up to scratch. Night skiing is also available up until 23:00 on 1 kilometre of floodlit slopes, excellent news for night owls. If you’re after a little more exhilaration then there is a dedicated snow park with a range of obstacles and boxes for snowboarders to practice their skills.
