Nebelhorn – Oberstdorf ski resort is located in the Oberallgäu, Swabia, Bavaria, Germany. It is a cosy resort providing guests with 11.9km of varied slopes to explore, there are 6 operational lifts working daily to transport guests and elevations are between 828 and 2,224m. The resort starts at the edge of Oberstdorf and goes up to Nebelhorn at 2,224m thus making it the highest resort in the Allgaeu. The panoramic views are breath-taking with 400 peaks within your sights, this is how it adopted the name ‘Grandstand Of The Alps’.
The ski resort is divided into 3 sections easy (2.8km) intermediate (5.1km) and difficult (4km), there are free riding zones to explore just below the peak station at 2,224m and continues down to the Hoefatsblick station, leading from here there is a steep slope to the Songhren chairlift or continue to descend to the Seeape station. The adventure park, Winterlebnispark and the practice area is also situated at Seeape station, from here novice and experienced skiers are able to take the run into the valley. The longest run at the resort is the Nebelhorn peak station to the Nebelhorn lift base station and the most difficult run is the Gipfelhang. Other wonderful runs include the Sonnehren and the Koblat-Gipfelmulde.
