The wonderful ski resort Hohenbogen – Neukirchen Bei BI. Blut can be found in the Hohenbogenwinkel, Bavarian Forest, Bavaria, Germany. It is a wonderful spot for skiing between the alpines with some remarkable panoramic views.
The resort offers a variety of runs with 6km of slopes available (2km easy runs, 3km of intermediate and 1km of difficult slopes) there is something for everyone to sample and if these aren’t enough then the valley run might be. This cosy resort is relatively unknown so the slopes are never over crowded. There are 3 operational lifts working to transport guests to their chosen elevations between 657 and 1,050m.
To access the highest elevation, guests use the double chair lift from Neukirchen near Heilig Blut (approx. 2km from the village), from the lift guests are expected to take in the wonderful views and the proximity of the well-maintained slopes.
Snow levels here are usually high, however on the occasion they might not be there are artificial snow cannons, 100% of the resort is flood lit and night skiing is also available. For dining options guests are encouraged to try the Berghaus restaurant at the hohenbogen at 1050m. Another recommendation is ‘The Hut’, the idyllic set up is perfect for a relaxing meal, the goulash soup is a favourite.
