Positioned in the Harz Mountains withing the Central Uplands of Germany, the Schulenberg (Skialpinum) ski resort has over 3.3km of great slopes on offer to skiers and snowboarders. There are 2 ski lifts that can take guests up to the highest slopes, ranging between 480m and 645m.
There is certainly an emphasis on more pleasant skiing at this resort, given that there is a total of 2.7km of easy slopes and 0.6km of intermediate slopes to choose from. This offering ensures that there is plenty for the complete novice to get to grips with as they enjoy their first time on the snow. Families are very much welcome here as well, allowing children to take their time and not have to worry about too many queues.
Thankfully the town of Schulenberg has plenty on offer for the famished skiers and snowboarders. The Garden Company has a delicious menu on offer, with a focus on vegetarian and gluten-free options. At the other end of the spectrum there is Oakridge Smokehouse, Ina’s Kitchen, and Lucy Tequilas Mexican Bar & Grill.
